This is something I really need to start doing. Lately I’ve been trying to get up before the kids (sometimes it works, sometimes they decide to wake up an hour earlier than usual, wah!) and spend 15 minutes drawing or colouring in my little sketchbook. I think I’ll add 20 minutes of exercise to my mornings too.

I really love these photos and how the outfits match the background. I’ll be going on the hunt for an interesting wall this week and design an outfit for one of the kiddos based on it.

It’s October! That means it’s time to start all those Halloween projects you’ve got on your list. How about these cute little felt ornaments? Until last year I had never eaten candy corn, and uh, way too sweet for me, but they sure make for cute decoration inspiration!

Chelsea from GYCT has a round up of some fun kids Halloween kids crafts. I just need to gather up a few supplies and Miss V and I will be trying some of these out. I’ll let know next week how we do 😉
…to cook
Not so much a recipe but more of a fun way to “Halloweenize” your hot chocolate! Looks fun, I like the whipped cream on top, although I’m not so sure about drinking the blood red hot chocolate..
