I was super excited to be a part of this test. Willow & Co is a collective of designers who got together to put together a pattern collection. I’ve been following of few of these designers blogs for a while so it made it even more thrilling to be a part of it.
I’m also always in awe of the fact that I get chosen to pattern test. I mean of the hundreds of people who sign up, I manage to get picked? Pretty cool.
The Ash Jumpsuit was designed by Celina of Petit à Petit and family. The jumpsuit is part of their first pattern collection, Wanderlust.

I found this floppy hat of Silly Bean’s and put it on Baby V. Cute! |
The jumpsuit can be made as a one piece or as separates. I went with separates to make it easier for diaper changing.
If you make them separate there are three different ways to hem the top. A plain hem (which I did), a banded bottom or an elasticized hem. The top is halter style with elastic going around the back and neck to make it easy to slip over the head. The back is open (and allows you to see Baby V’s strawberry mark, ha!).
Super cute, and definitely a fun pattern for the summer. I made mine in cotton woven but any lightweight material could work. There were some super nice tester versions in voile!
Ohhhh, I LOVE seeing it on a baby. Seriously too cute. Thank you!
Thank you! And yay! You left me my first comment ever! 🙂
