I’m excited to show you the felt playmat I’ve sewn up. It’s called the Enchanting Woodland Meadow Playscape and it’s designed by Alicia of Felt with Love Designs. It’s a project that’s part of the One Thimble Issue 14. I cannot resist the felt projects!
Unfortunately even though I started the project way in advance I still was unable to complete all the details in time for the post. The felt playmat is a big project involving lots of hand sewing and my me-time is limited. I brought the project with me to work and sewed it on my breaks but apparently I don’t get enough breaks, ha.
I still need to add some flowers to the large garden (they’re cut, they just need to be attached) and add some more veggies to the small garden before sewing on the back piece. After watching my Miss V play with it (she had lots of fun!) I’m thinking her playmobil friends need a boat and a tent too.
You can see how cute the playmat is when it’s all finished up below:
Once my playmat is completely complete I will update the post with new pictures. I’m really happy with the project even though I’m so slow at finishing it up.
There are so many super cute patterns in this issue. I really want to make the skirt that’s on the cover and the Trillium dress.
