After getting our first snowfall last week, it got unseasonably warm, and the snow all melted. Yay for being able to get some outdoor pictures!

The Omni Tempore pattern* is a unisex top/hoodie pattern that comes with a few different options. Short sleeve or long; hoodie or collar; banded sleeves and waist or regular hem.
Seeing as Miss V is outgrowing all her long sleeved tops I made her a long sleeved version, added the cuffs but did a hemmed waist, and did the collar option.
This was another upcycle project so using the my old tops’ original hem made the process even faster.
The main fabric and the cuffs are from a waffle knit thermal top from Old Navy, and the collar fabric is a knit from my stash. It’s actually sparkly. She looks like a regular elf in this outfit!

Thoughts on fit:
Miss V fell in between the 12m and 18m size and I should have gone with the suggestion in the pattern to size down if your child is in between sizes. I made the 18m size and it’s a bit roomy on her since the style is more of a boxy fit BUT the roominess makes it easier to layer. If I were making it to be worn alone (like a summer short sleeve tee) then I would size down for sure on the next one.
The Omni pattern is on sale until Saturday. You can pick up the bundle (includes child and adult sizing) pattern for 30% off, or purchase each size range individually for 20% off. No coupon code needed, but only on Sofilantjes.com*
