Pattern Test: Rose skirt by Les Filles a Maman

I did another test for Les Filles a Maman!

This time it was a cute little knit pencil skirt. So cute and ‘sew’ easy!

They have the same pleat detail as the pants, and the pockets are optional. I left them off, since well a 7.5 month old baby really doesn’t need pockets. (So cute though!)
Filles a Maman patterns are great, and this one took about an hour (uninterrupted 😉 ) from printing to sewing.

I don’t have a great selection of knits on hand so a lot of my projects with knit fabric involve upcycling. The pink was from a large men’s tee and the teal was one of my old shirts.

I so need to make some for my older girl. (And I’d love it if she came out with a women’s version!)

You can see all the tester pics in the flickr pool.

A bientot!
