Pattern Test: Waverley Skirt by SassHenri Designs

This is another newer designer named SassHenri Designs that I tested for. She was part of a challenge for new and aspiring designers over on the Pattern Revolution blog that took place in February.

This is the Waverley Ruffled skirt. It has such a unique feature! SillyBean loves it!

Confession time: I sew late at night.. late at night … sometimes mistakes happen. Hence it wasn’t until I had finished the skirt did I realise that I had only cut one length for the ‘wave’ and not two! Oops! I had wondered why I was having a hard time while attaching it but I didn’t think to recheck the cut chart. And that my dears is why you really shouldn’t sew at 1am. … 

Still looks super cute thoough. 🙂 I love it’s shape.
It has a paper bag style waistband and has a pocket! We love pockets! 
Anyway, this skirt is on the list of ‘make it again for this summer’.
