Today I’m sharing with you the Indigo dress by petitboo patterns that I sewed up. The designer, Allison is not new to the pattern designing world but has in fact been designing patterns under the petitboo brand for a while now and recently decided to make it easier on herself by merging E+M Patterns with the petitboo brand.
Not Just a Sunsuit tour: The Panelled Sunsuit pattern + Giveaway

I was really flattered when Ajaire sent me an email asking me to take part in the tour (and basically buttering me up, lol). I had grand plans to make a cute outfit from one of the bazillion options in this pattern but then life happened and I wasn’t able to sew for a few weeks and then I fell into a bit of slump and just couldn’t sew anything even when I wanted. In the end though I did it! I made probably the simplest view from this pattern.

1 Pattern 3 Ways
Hey Everyone!
Thanks for following along on the 1 Pattern: 3 Ways tour being hosted by Bethany of Sew-Not-Perfect! It’s such a great idea to get the most use out of the patterns already in your stash (although I cannot deny the allure of purchasing new patterns!)
I still haven`t had a chance to finish all three looks.. Wah! But I have two versions of Girls’ Dress and Shirt Pattern No. 6 from E+M Patterns (affiliate link) to show you!
First, is the pattern hack version. It’s a simple pattern hack. I followed the directions for the dress version with a waistband, but instead of adding the skirt, I made the waistband 12″ long (so 6″ folded over) to make a top with a wide band. Hopefully I will convince her to pose in it this afternoon and I can get pics of her wearing it! It looks so cute on (she tried it on but wouldn’t agree to photos).
The next version is the tester I made last year. This one was made following instructions exactly. Top length with flutter sleeves.
I have dress version in the works! Hopefully will update the post again in a couple days.
