For today’s ready-to-wear look I pulled an outift for the ladies that I liked on Modcloth.
I’m one those people who feels most comfortable in t-shirt and jeans. Unless I’m going to a wedding, I feel overdressed in a dress or skirt, and never feel super comfortable as I feel like I’m playing dress-up. (Which is strange because when I was little I lived in dresses). So I would most definitely want to dress down the look by pairing a

The idea for Knock it Off Tour was vaguely inspired by the Thea dress pattern by (the now closed) BLAVERRY when, nearly simultaneously, I ran across a fairly similar dress on Target’s website and Deb saw a similar dress in a H&M store window.
(It’s also not a new idea – ‘knock off’ or ready-to-wear inspired sewing projects have been around since time immemorial – but the idea for us to do the tour was inspired by that pattern). Continue reading “Knock it Off Tour Day One”
Today I’m sharing with you the Indigo dress by petitboo patterns that I sewed up. The designer, Allison is not new to the pattern designing world but has in fact been designing patterns under the petitboo brand for a while now and recently decided to make it easier on herself by merging E+M Patterns with the petitboo brand.
